Would it have killed them to make higher-res backsprites? I mean, if Game Freak had the patience to make 4 different angle minisprites of EVERY SINGLE POKEMON (x2 if you include the second walking frames) for the overworld, then you'd imagine they'd have the patience to make freakin bigger backsprites for the Pokemon! Sheesh, now the battles look like crap, no matter how animated and "live" it is. It annoys me so much when people zoom in on sprites, so you can practically see each and every individual pixel. Heck, it already looked like crap in the random 3d camera HG/SS had on the lighthouse balcony and on top of that building in Saffron, but at least there was an excuse for that. For this, I can't really think of a reason why not besides the fact that they were too lazy. I mean, making higher-res backsprites is a lot less work than making 8 different small overworld sprites. -_-;;
But whatever, I'm still gonna buy the games.
So Game Freak must be doing something right.
